Evaluation & Criteria

The Michelin Keys were created to recognize hotels – much like the Michelin Stars in gastronomy – for outstanding achievements in hospitality. According to Michelin, five key criteria are evaluated: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character of the property, value for money, and the hotel’s contribution to its surroundings and guest experience. A hotel awarded two Keys is described as “an exceptional stay with an excellent overall performance in every respect.”

A Valuable Recognition

It is a special honor for us to be part of this distinguished circle – as throughout Austria, only 18 hotels have been awarded two Michelin Keys. This recognition fills us with great pride and also serves as motivation to live our passion for excellent hospitality each and every day.
